Greetings friends of iKhaya
March has been a month filled with joy, connection, and community spirit. We celebrated many birthdays, each one a reminder of how precious childhood is. One celebration even took us to the beach, where the children delighted in the sea, the sand feet, and the excitement of the skate park. Moments like these are memories in the making.
We were also blessed with several visitors this month. Having guests spend time with us is more than a courtesy call; it strengthens social interaction, builds confidence, and shows our children just how deeply the community cares for them. Your presence reminds them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
As we continue creating a safe, nurturing environment, we do have a few pressing needs.
If you feel moved to contribute, your support would make a meaningful difference.
We are currently in need of:
- Bedding for each child
- A few mattresses (single beds and cots)
- A sleeper couch
- Ceiling and wall‐mounted fans
- Swimming costumes
- Groceries
- Cleaning agents
- Toiletries
