The Great Outdoors
Summer holidays are a great opportunity for loads of outdoor activities. The kids love a trip to the beach or pool, playing games or sports in our huge open yards and simply being together. Nothing like a little splash pool and water play to cool off the babies on a piping hot summer day!
Funky Hair
Dress-up and fantasy play is one of the kids' most favourite activity. Greta brought a bunch of wigs to add to our dress up box and had such a blast with the kids. I even had them parading for me in the office.
Volunteers
Greta and Sara served as volunteers through APCM, a German agency in partnership with iKhaya LikaBaba, in 2019/ 20. Their stay was cut short when the COVID19 lockdown was implemented in March 2020. Thisnever dampened their spirits and love for iKhaya at all. They in fact have just made their 3rd trip to us to visit and serve. It is always a blessing to have volunteers returning as they already know the ropes and their time is a real blessing and ofgreat value to us all. The children were delighted to have them back again too! I simply love it when folk catch the heart of our ministry, fall in love with the kids and our country! Until next time girls!

B-Fit Bootcamp for Kids
A great place to make new friends, get exercise and practice those gross motor skills. Our young girls have joined Bootcamp with Mahdiya in Empangeni and are absolutely
loving the classes.
Chefs in the Making
Introduction to cooking and baking! The girls joined Aunty Glory in the kitchen to make playdough. They got to measure out the ingredients, mix it up and knead the dough. Little did they realise just how much learning they achieved while having such fun together.
Back2School
Thank you to each and every person who contributed their time, offered discounts and financially supported our Back2School drive. This is an exciting time for the children as they see their stationery and uniforms being prepared for school and day 1 of a new year is such a proud moment for us all!
Dear Friends
I am amazed that January has flown by. Where do the months go?
Our kids have settled in well at school and the routine feels like we have been at it for months already. The 2 new school goers are loving school and come home daily with BIG, BRIGHT smiles. Such a relief for the mother-heart when our little ones are comfortable and happy!
Three kiddies were recently reunited with their families and our hearts rejoice for them as they longed dearly to be back home. Please pray for them to thrive, for God's protection and that they would fit into their new environments with ease.
