Galatians 6: 10 “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”

Athletics at ECS

Our eight Empangeni Christian School kids had the chance to show their classmates and their teachers how much they improved over this school term by competing with others at the athletic day. It is amazing to see how much they have learned over a couple of months and with how much joy they participate. All of our kids gave of their best and we are more than proud. Well done guys!

Outing to the town library

“How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.‘‘ Proverbs 16:16 Education is very important for us. That is why our aim is to enable our kids to receive the best education there is to offer. It’s in this light that we took the kids to the town library, where they had the oppurtunity to choose books for themselves and spend quality time reading. It was wonderful to watch how the books grabbed their attention and for a while nothing else was of importance!

Birthday Party

Three of our children, Sanele, Asanda and Sphelele, celebrated their birthdays with the entire iKhaya family. It was lovely celebration with a loads of cake and generous presents organised by the local BWA. The kids were delighted to spend their special day with loving people and had great time celebrating together.

Vast Open Spaces

Our kids love to go for walks around the property, on which our home is situated, and collect nuts on the way. A major highlight of every walk is seeing the chickens, which live on a farm next our property. It is amazing to see how time becomes of lesser value as the chickens are given their full attention. Seeing the kids fascinated by God's creation is truely a blessing.
