Proverbs 22:6  “ Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. ”

Our Very Own In-house Pre-School11Our little Boys have an adventurous time at their pre-school. They are all very curious that‘s why our pre-school teacher Bronwyn often takes them for little outings or a walk to explore the area around our property. They especially enjoy looking at the chickens on a neighbouring farm. On the last visit, Omega told the chickens they should stop shouting because Bronwyn doesn’t like it and it isn’t a good behaviour. The little boys are also very creative, so a few weeks ago we made cupcakes which they where allowed to decorate just as they pleased. Needless to say they had a lot of fun!

Another Painting Work Party

2To get iKhaya 3, which is currenlty empty, fresh and clean for our next houseparents, we had a paint party this month. We had many willing hands to help and so we finished really quickly but most of all we had a lot of fun together. Thanks to everyone who took time out to help! We really appreciate it!

Generous Hearts – Thank you!
Kenzie Turned 3!

3Kenzie celebrated her third birthday with us at iKhaya! Our kids and Kenzie had a lot of fun and most enjoyable time together. We would like to say thank you to Natalie, Kanzie‘s mum, and the whole family for organizing such a special party to share with our kids and for your generosity!

Airproducts

4Airproducts supported our pre-school with an abundance of teaching material and educational games and an esential first aid kit. And in addition they blessed us with a huge fridge/ freezer and 4 single bed mattresses towards the needs of iKhaya 3. We thank you so much for your generosity! We and the kids will benefit hugely from it all and we appreciate it immensely!

Empangeni High School Land Service Visit5The Land Service club of Empangeni High visited us again this year to bless our home with much needed groceries, cleaning materials and clothing. They organized a lovely afternoon for the kids filled with fun, laughter and many games.  The most beautifully decorated and delicious cupcakes to end off the afternoon was the cherry on top! Thanks to you, our kids had a lot of fun and enjoyed the visit so very much!

Doing Daily Life at iKhaya

6This month our two little babies were admitted in hospital but we were happy to have them home and back to good health quickly. As you can see life at iKhaya is always very busy and while we are playing or doing crafts or facepainting or a lot of other things we have lots of fun together. Happy smiles tell the tale of happy memories in the making!
